Since this is the 20 year anniversary of the tragedy on Sept. 11, 2001, it seemed fitting that we choose the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) as this year's non-profit group that we support and raise awareness and money for.

$5 from the entrance ticket sales for this year’s event and the Silent Auction will benefit the NFFF.  See below to learn more about them and how you can help support Level 10" Doug Butschky in this year's 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb.

Thank you to our friends at LGC Sports Marketing for again hosting our Silent Auction to help us fight the good fight.  Follow them on FB Right Here.

The United States Congress created the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation to lead a nationwide effort to remember America’s fallen firefighters.  Since 1992, the tax-exempt, nonprofit Foundation has developed and expanded programs to honor our fallen fire heroes and assist their families and co-workers.

"Our Mission is to Honor and Remember America's Fallen Fire Heroes, to provide resources to assist their families in rebuilding their lives, and work within the fire service community to reduce Firefighter deaths and injuries".

Each year on September 11th, Memorial Stair Climb participants pays tribute to a FDNY firefighter by climbing or walking the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center.  This tribute not only remembers the sacrifice of an FDNY brother, but symbolically completes their heroic journey to save others.  Through firefighter and community participation we ensure that each of the 343 firefighters is honored and that the world knows that we will never forget.

Please support Level 10's Doug Butschky in this year's climb to be held at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.  You can donate to the NFFF fund or join Doug's team and walk the stadium with him and gather donations.  Doug has started toward his goal of raising $2,500 with a personal donation of $50.  It's your move.

These 9/11 Memorial Stair Climbs help the NFFF create and maintain programs that support fire service survivors.  Your support of the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb events provides assistance to the surviving families and co-workers of the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.

Every October, the Foundation sponsors the official national tribute to all firefighters who died in the line of duty during the previous year. Thousands attend the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend in Emmitsburg, Maryland.

This year's event will be the 40th Annual National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend and is currently planned to be held in-person on October 2-3, 2021, on the grounds of the National Emergency Training Center (NETC) in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Due to the global pandemic there continues to be uncertainties, about COVID-19 restrictions, and challenges the pandemic may bring.
