Showcase Your Crab Cakes & Crab Soup at the 10th Annual Maryland’s Top Crab Cake Challenge expo to be held on Tuesday, Sept. 17th from 5-8pm at Boumi Shriners Temple in Perry Hall.

Provided for Vendors:
- Food station with large staging area and access to power
- Serving table with linen
- May bring up to four staff members
- Marketing of your business on the event website
- Social media promotion when you register to participate
- Business listed with the other competitors in press releases
- Free parking. Easy unloading & set up.
Set up: 2pm-4:45pm | food stations must stay up until 8pm
Vendor requirements:
- Complete Vendor Registration Form
- Provide samples and hand them out to event attendees
- Provide plates, cups, bowls, utensils, napkins, etc.
Join in on the Fun
There will be 8-10 restaurants/caterers competing to see who makes the best crab cakes in Maryland. There will also be competitions for Maryland Crab soup and Cream of Crab soup so if you serve those items, you can enter those competitions as well. There will be a Casino Night, a DJ, an Interactive Photo Booth and 50-60 local business exhibitor booths. It’s going to be a big, fun promotional event. We hope that you can join us.
Complete Details
We supply the tables, linens, chairs and access to power. You may bring several people to work the booth for you. You can set your area up as a display booth for your business including pull up banners, table drape, marketing brochures, hand-outs, etc.
You can also gather people’s information for follow up with them after the event or to add them to your email newsletter or text message program. You hand out a sample of your crab cake and/or soup (you determine the size) to each attendee that comes to your booth and they will move on to the next competitor. The attendees vote for their favorite and at the end of the event, we will tally the votes and announce the top 3 winners in each of the three categories LIVE at the Networking Reception following the event as well as on social media the following day and a press release.
We are expecting 250-300 people in attendance. Ravens Super Fan, Captain DeeFense will be on hand for photo ops and social media posting.
Awards
Awards will be given out to the top three finishers in each category of the competition including a giant wooden crab (14” x 24” +/-) for the 1st place crab cake winner to hang on the wall at their establishment. It will have an engraved plaque on it declaring them as the winner of the 10th Annual Maryland’s Top Crab Cake Challenge with the company logo/name and date of the event. We will publish the winners on our website, on social media as well as in a press release following the event.
